Dr. Chado was born and raised in Frederick, Maryland. He performed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Chado did clinical externships with an emphasis in ocular disease at Clayton Eye Center in Morrow, GA, Swagel Wootton Hiatt Eye Center in Mesa, AZ, and The Eye Center at Southern College of Optometry.
Dr. Chado has received extensive clinical training in all areas of optometry, including dry eye disease, primary care, pediatrics, ocular emergencies, glaucoma treatment, diabetic eye exams, pre/post-operative care of surgical patients, and specialty contact lens fits including medically necessary contact lenses with scleral lenses and custom RGP lenses.
Dr. Chado is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Maryland Optometric Association. Dr. Chado is also a provider for InfantSee. This national program offers free eye exams to children in their first year of life to detect congenital problems that could be developmentally delayed or life-threatening. He welcomes the opportunity to see patients and serve the community where he grew up. Dr. Chado is a prospective family man looking forward to settling down in Maryland and starting one with his wife.
