Dr. Marielle Mahan is a fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in cosmetic and functional eyelid surgery, tear duct and orbital surgery, facial reconstruction, and non-surgical aesthetic treatments. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Mahan is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.

Dr. Mahan earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where she also served as President of the Georgetown Eye Health Initiative. She completed her ophthalmology residency at MedStar Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center and an internal medicine internship at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. She went on to pursue a prestigious fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Casey Eye Institute at Oregon Health & Science University, one of the nation’s leading ASOPRS-accredited programs.

Throughout her career, Dr. Mahan has been recognized for both her clinical and academic excellence. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters in the field of oculoplastic surgery and ocular trauma and has presented at national and international conferences. Her areas of expertise include eyelid and brow surgery, reconstruction following skin cancer, orbital tumors and trauma, and minimally invasive procedures such as Botox and dermal fillers.

Dr. Mahan is committed to combining artistic precision with medical expertise to restore both function and appearance. She strives to empower her patients through education and shared decision-making, with a thoughtful approach rooted in empathy and attention to detail.
