Dr. Luna’s diverse and rich experience has set the stage for her career in delivering amazing patient-centered eye care. While attending The Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, Dr. Luna completed her optometry degree along with a Master of Science in Low Vision Rehabilitation. Her distinguished career has spanned over a decade. During her tenure, she has provided comprehensive eye care to a large population of patients including pediatric, geriatric, and low-vision.
Dr. Luna brings to Visionary Eye Doctors a unique blend of clinical skills and compassionate patient care. With a clinical background that spans from managing ocular diseases to low-vision rehabilitation, Dr. Luna is especially proficient in handling complex ocular cases.
Initially earning her degree in Physiology/Neurobiology and Women’s Studies from the University of Maryland in 2003, Dr. Luna harbored a longstanding dream of becoming a board-certified optometrist. This foundational education in both scientific and sociocultural fields provides her with a multifaceted perspective on healthcare. She values not only the physiological aspects of patient care but also the sociocultural dimensions that play a crucial role in overall well-being. This comprehensive understanding makes her an invaluable member of the Visionary Eye Doctors team!
