Dr. Moainie completed his residency at Georgetown University Ophthalmology Department & has served as The Chief resident at the National Veterans Hospital. His research interests include the use of telemedicine in conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, & he has presented his research at national meetings. After residency, Dr. Moainie worked with Unite for Sight in Ghana & has made surgical trips with medical students & residents in South America, including Guatemala & Ecuador. His passion for providing outstanding patient care shows in the feedback, and he is a patient favorite. He frequently sees patients for eye emergencies, like infections or corneal abrasions but also performs general eye exams, glaucoma management, diabetic eye exams, & many others.
